TAGLINE: In a Different Direction
LOGO: Based on the abracadabra charm an occult symbol highlighting the inverted triangle, a symbol of feminine power/water. The backwards K at the beginning of the word COWLICK illustrates the idea of going against the grain / in a different direction.
The backwards K at the beginning of the word COWLICK illustrates the idea of going against the grain / in a different direction. Phonetically placing the K before the C still reads correctly.
DOLLAR BIN BROTHERS
TAGLINE: Making Something From Nothing
LOGO: Combining the decibel notation of a lowercase d with a capital B along with a dated LCD electronic aesthetic to create the image mark.
The word mark leans heavily on COOPER BLACK a ubiquitous font found throughout 70’s and 80’s popular culture/music. The triangle formation represents fire and masculine energy/brotherhood.
COVERS: The various designs for the album covers were sampled from details of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band album cover, reinforcing the record collecting and sampling themes of the overall project.

“An art show/online project focused on oral traditions mixed with analog and digital folklore. A sprawling content created ‘virtual reality’ staring down and directly addressing the imminent VR/Wearable tech evolution. The Last Sip Society peels back the underground and overflow of culture and meaning in the world’s most culturally diverse city, laying bare tangible experience as the reader unravels an alternate reality, oddly familiar yet exceptionally fantastic.” – JG
